Built as a commercial
office building, this luxuriously detailed Art Deco structure is one of the
finest examples not located in the heart of Downtown Boston. Note the elongated directory, the
metalwork over the entrance, the details of the interior lobby and elevator
doors, and the stylized geometric and fountain/floral bas relief patterns in
the facade almost to the roof line.
